Are you mobile?

Currently, we offer paintless dent removal as a mobile service, at your location. Our other services are performed at our location. We charge a small fee for mobile service for paintless dent removal done at your location.

What is the difference between a dent and a ding?

The answer to this question will vary from person to person. In my expert opinion, a ding is small dent. A ding is usually round in shape, and is smaller than the circumference of a golf ball. If you hit the garage door on the way out of your house, and crushed the front fender, this is not a “ding”, this is a dent. We can repair both dings and dents with great success! I hit my door against a pole at the gas station, can you fix it?

I call these QT pole dents.  They really need to put a rubber top on those things.  Scores of people dent their cars on them every day.  Yes we can repair these dents, and sometimes we can repair them perfectly; although often they don’t repair 100%.  The reason for this is because the corners of the pole are somewhat sharp (and the pole is quite solid).  The dents that they cause are usually deep and somewhat stretched.  When the metal stretches, the repair will always be less than perfect.  Most people are happy with the repair we can do.  You have to look close to find the remaining flaw; which is sometimes a tiny spot the size of a BB where the metal has been stretched.  Roswell paintless dent removal

Is there a discount for having lots of dents?

Yes!  The first dent on a vehicle is likely to cost in the range of $80-$100 for a small door ding for atlanta paintless dent removal.  Yet if you have multiple dents, it will not cost you $80 per ding.  Very often we can go around a vehicle and repair all of the dings in it for $200- $350.  Extreme cases could be more.  Light damage could be less.   We offer a great value, and usually charge less than the brick and mortar shops in town!  We also offer the convenience of coming to your location!

What is that white/yellow plastic board that you hook to the car?

One of the questions that I hear the most while I’m actually doing a job is about the “dent board”.  We use a suction cup to hang this plastic board to the car.  In and of itself, it does nothing.  It is not  actually “doing” anything.  We use the black stripe on the board as a constant reflection that  we see while we look at the dent.  When I am repairing a dent, I am looking at the dent, but I am seeing the reflection of the stripe on the board in the shiny paint of the dent.  (As a side note, I cannot repair dents on paint that has no shine!)  You can imagine that as the metal is bending out from the pressure I am applying with my dent tool, the reflection of the stripe would be bending along with it.  I use this bending reflection to tell me where my tool tip is.  (my tool is behind the metal, pushing outward, so I can’t actually see the tool tip). The only other use for the dent board is to use one of them as a shade-board.  Sometimes I use two boards, one as described above, and one to put shade on the dent itself, in sunny conditions.  This enhances my ability to see the dent and my tool tip behind the dent. How long will it take?

Most of our repairs are done in less than an hour!.  Larger jobs such as hail damage may take longer, although it has been a long time since we took more than one day to repair a hail damaged vehicle.  We will return your call quickly, schedule your appointment within a day or two’s notice, and have your car back to new before you can say “paintless dent removal“!  We are Atlanta paintless dent removal experts!

Do the dents come back?

No!  For 999 out of 1000 dents, they will not come back, ever.   Some times we are asked to repair dents that really shouldn’t be repaired with paintless dent removal.  These severe dents have actually stretched the metal of the car.  When we repair these dents, the metal actually comes out too far, creating a slight bulge.  This is the kind of dent, which if slightly hit, can pop back in.    These dents don’t usually repair well, and I steer people away from repairing them.
